The moment is finally here as Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury battle it out one more time for the WBC and lineal heavyweight titles at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas. Wilder and Fury fought to a split draw in December 2018 in what was one of the best fights of the year.

Fury outboxed Wilder for the majority of that contest. But Wilder has the equalizer — a patented right-hand punch, the likes of which boxing rarely sees in a lifetime. After knocking Fury down to the canvas in the ninth round, Wilder was still down on two scorecards heading into the 12th and final round and searching for the knockout to win or get a draw. The 2008 Olympic bronze medalist appeared to get what he was looking for when he sent Fury down for the count with one of the most vicious two-punch combinations you will ever see. Somehow, Fury rose from the dead to get up and finish the round to earn the split draw.

Since then, both guys have fought twice. Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KOs) scored a first-round knockout of Dominic Breazeale in May and then came from behind to notch a scintillating seventh-round KO of Luis Ortiz. And Fury (29-0-1, 20 KOs) defeated Tom Schwarz by second-round TKO in June, then beat Otto Wallin via unanimous decision in a tougher-than-expected fight that saw Fury suffer a deep cut in his right eyelid.
